Youth Mission Trips

Our youth engage in service projects locally, statewide, across the United States, and internationally. Our students and leaders actively serve in a variety of capacities: washing dishes, leading a summer Bible camp lesson or building houses. Servant leadership is at the heart of every mission project we choose; we strive to help everyone serve with JOY-filled hearts. This intention reminds us to first serve Jesus, Others, then Yourself...JOY:

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.
— Hebrews 10:24

United States

Our youth are blessed to serve in varied ways and locations throughout the USA. They participate in projects locally, helping Evergreen area families through Evergreen Christian Outreach, World Vision Warehouse, and our Labor Day of Love. Outside of Colorado, they have had opportunities to work with disabled individuals, the elderly, and families experiencing poverty. Some of the locations our youth have served include the following: Greeley & Fort Collins, CO, San Diego, CA, and Navajo Nation, an Indian Reservation in Arizona.

Belize

Youth from our church served as Mission Team Volunteers through the short-term mission trip organization, World Gospel Outreach. They helped build a small building for education and Sunday school use, and a bathroom for our sister church in Duck Run 3.

Honduras

Several youth served as Mission Team Volunteers through the short-term mission trip organization, World Gospel Outreach. The team of volunteers provided a vital link between the Church in the US and the needs of people in Honduras. Teams were given diverse opportunities to serve and make life-changing and meaningful contributions that impact the people of Honduras.

Uganda

Some of our youth travelled to Uganda as volunteers with ChristAid International. They worked alongside the people there to build a home for a Grandmother who cares and provides for 12 grandchildren. The team also nurtured relationships with the people and observed the many aspects of the work of ChristAid.
